The IOGEAR GCE500U is a console extender by IOGEAR in a desktop form factor. It connects via USB and VGA interfaces, with data transmission over Cat5e/Cat6 cable up to 500 feet.
Compatible with most Windows-based systems, the unit supports one local and one remote user station featuring keyboard, video monitor, and mouse connections. Power is supplied to both units via the included external adapters. Each side includes ports for VGA display output/input (up to 1920x1200 resolution), along with USB Type-A connectors supporting only HID-compliant peripherals.
